Today we had our 15/16 week doctor appointment to check on Baby Parrish. The heartbeat is strong and we have our next appointment on September 13th....we will also have an ultrasound and will be able to find out the gender then!
Although she is eating lots of sweets and ice cream, no weight gain for Becca yet! The doctor assured us the baby is getting what it needs and not to worry about it...so, those of you anxiously awaiting a picture of a big belly will have to wait a little longer!
Last weekend, with the help of John and Nancy, we painted the nursery. Formerly our den/office, we chose a cream paint color for the pine paneled walls and tan trim. Our thought...to decorate with lots of fun art (and hopefully some creative pieces from family and friends will make the nursery really special!). We will also have curtains cover the closet (yes, full of Becca's clothes--also in every other closet in our house!) and over the frech doors, so naptime can be pleasant.
We'll post more pictures as the nursery progresses!
